Multidrop Micro Speeds Low Volume Reagent Dispensing
Lightweight, compact and accurate, the new Multidrop Micro dispenser is a valuable tool for rapid micro volume filling of 96- or 384-well microplates. With a dispensing range of 1 to 50µl, the Multidrop Micro is an easy to use stand-alone instrument with quick volume and plate type selections from the instrument keypad. The Multidrop Micro may be operated under full computer control or interfaced to the Titertek Titan Stacker. Utilizing a high precision peristaltic pump to directly dispense micro volumes from single or multiple reagent bottles, the Multidrop Micro eliminates time-consuming reagent addition steps.
Using eight discrete reagent lines, the Multidrop Micro can dispense different reagents to each row. Reagent lines may be back flushed to minimize loss of costly reagents. The removable dispensing cassette of the Multidrop Micro is autoclavable and allows specific cassettes to be dedicated to specific reagents.
Useful for the high-density 384-well plates, the Multidrop Micro gives flexibility of use for 96-well or 384-well plates at the flip of a switch. Dispensing as little as 1µl per well up to a maximum of 50µl, the Multidrop Micro is both accurate and fast. From one through twenty-four columns may be selected for dispensing and up to eight different reagents may be added.
