Excellent optical performance for 96 and
384-well plates
The next step in photometric measurement, Titertek's Multiskan Ascent offers
superior reliability for research laboratories around the world. The high-quality
optical system ensures excellent reproducibility, accuracy and reliable results.
The ability to measure with remarkable linearity up to 4 absorbance units decreases
the time needed to obtain the sample results, as extra dilution of samples is
not needed.
Fast measurement for increased capacity
Multiskan Ascent provides fast and accurate measurements for routine and research
applications. Its 384 well plate reading capability allows the use of superior
photometric features in high throughput environments. It takes only 9 seconds
to measure 96 well plates and 20 seconds to measure 384 well plates.
User-friendly internal software for routine
applications
The user comes first with Multiskan Ascent's easy-to-use internal software for
routine applications. Menus clearly show different operations. The entire process
can be easily followed because assay programming is based on questions and answers.
Up to 100 assay protocols and 50 assay results can be saved in the Multiskan
Ascent's memory. Internal software contains end-point, two-point and kinetic
measurements, with qualitative and quantitative calculations. A wide range of
curve fit types, together with transformation and extrapolation, offers flexible
result data handling capabilities. Cut-off equations, scaling, validation, quality
control and the possibility to use dilution factor features make the internal
software even more functional. The flexible and visual plate map for blanks,
calibrators, controls and samples is also a special feature of Multiskan Ascent.

Optional floppy disk station
To facilitate saving test results or transferring the results to a computer,
Multiskan Ascent can include a floppy disk station. Data is stored in ASCII
format.
Optional incubator
An optional in-built incubator can be included for assays requiring temperature
control. Temperature can range up to 50°C.

Windows -based Ascent Software is one of the most flexible software packages
available. The open and flexible assay set-up enables various research applications.
